The Bosch Shopfloor Agent has been named CIBA Success Story of the Year 2026 in the "AI-Driven Solutions" category at the CBA Aachen – Congress on Business Applications.
The award was presented for the first time this year by the Center Integrated Business Applications (CIBA) and the FIR at RWTH Aachen University. It recognizes outstanding projects that drive digitalization, manufacturing excellence, and sustainability. Winners were selected by an independent jury representing industry, academia, and professional associations.
The award highlights how artificial intelligence can create tangible value in manufacturing when developed in close collaboration with the people who use it every day. The Bosch Shopfloor Agent empowers shopfloor employees with intelligent, practical support, helping to streamline processes, improve transparency, and increase operational efficiency.
This recognition reflects the successful collaboration between development teams, manufacturing experts, partners, and customers in bringing the Shopfloor Agent to life.
